This place treats you like you matter. Your not just a number. If I would of stayed the entire time I would of stayed clean. And the food was excellent.
Beautiful location in the middle of nowhere. Staff is a mix of those who care and those who couldn't care less depending on shifts. Food mediocre at best, mediocre at best preparation for the community with sub par ingredients. Treatment is mainly 12 steps drilled into your head but for my group there I had actual treatment thanks to my therapist.
I was there for 28 Days, No it wasn't a party, it was a "Time out" for me. I needed help, they gave me a nice, clean environment, with plenty of water, fruit and food. The Staff was great. They educated me. I put into it everything I could, and still I relapsed. But continued the fight with the tools I got from this place. I am now Sober. Loving my Life. Thank you Seabrook House. Anyone who says otherwise, is just not ready. Its takes work, again these places are not meant for a wonderful time. It has a purpose and this place has it all. Thanks again Seabrook house.
In 2007, I had a bad experience trying to work with someone at this company and then again just recently in I had similar experience in 2017. Seabrook House provides quality substance abuse treatment. I just would not recommend them based on my experience with this one gentleman at the company.
Only care about making money off of people who need help. They grab your phone and cut you off from the outside world as they are busy calling you insurance company to keep you there as long as possible. You don't need to spend a fortune for groups of people to tell you to follow the 12 steps. That's all they do. Poorly run, ignorant staff, no downtime and minimal contact with family, friends, loved ones. In summary, pack them in, make money. Don't waste your time. They brag about their philosophy but trust me, its nothing more than do the 12 steps. Hardly innovative. HORRIBLE FOOD! Chicken and Beef poorly prepared every day. The owner will drop in every once in a while with his super high priced car and talk to the current suckers. Aftercare is a joke too, mindless chatter with no real aftercare. Go to NA or AA and save yourself the train wreck money making scheme called Seabrook House.
