The equipment is old and needs to be replaced, only half of the trainers are good and that’s just because they recently hired two new guys who actually know what they’re talking about when it comes to fitness. The gym has this “no bag rule” so if you want to bring chalk, wraps, water, sleeves, a belt, your keys, or wallet you have to just carry it all in your hands. This would all be tolerable if the one trainer at the gym didn’t just sit around and do nothing while she’s at the gym. I’ve seen her smoking cigarettes and eating fast food at the property which really just makes the gym look bad. I’ve seen how she trains with her clients and she just has absolutely no idea what the heck she’s doing. She has also been nasty and rude to members of the gym, myself included. The rest of the staff is pretty nice, but I guess they should be because the membership cost is $30 a month after you pay the $100 enrollment fee. Redeeming factors are that it’s five minutes from where I live and the gym is cleaned regularly. Update: The owner read my review and confronted me the next day and tried to make me, the customer feel like the bad guy for expressing my grievances with the gym. He essentially told me that I was “trolling” the gym just to make them look bad, I reminded him that I gave them a three star review when I could’ve given a lower score. He then added that I was welcome to leave and join another gym. This is another example of the owners being unprofessional. Who runs a business, looks to reviews for criticism and then can’t accept the criticism? And then takes it a step further to confront the consumer instead of taking actions to fix the complaints. Still the gym is only five minutes away from my house.
Great place. Gym is clean, staff is always friendly and willing to help out and show the right way to do exercises and use their equipment. Always greeted by Kathy with a warm smile. Equipment is clean, up to date and alway in working order,
